What is the Structure of PRINCE2®?
The PRINCE2®structure is comprised of four steps namely principles, themes, processes and project environment.
The Project environment comprises of all the other three aspects i.e. principles, themes and processes.
PRINCE2® Principles – There are seven principles in all and a PRINCE2® project requires all of them to be applied.

- Focus on products – Projects must focus on the product definition, delivery and quality requirements.
- Tailor to suit the project environment – Projects must be customized to suit their environment, size, complexity, importance, capability and risk.
PRINCE2® Themes – The project must be managed based on these seven themes. They are set up at the beginning of a project and looked after throughout.
- Business case – Recording business justification for a project.
- Organization – Defining roles and responsibilities of individuals within a project.
